2nd Grade BBall

Glennie is doing so well at basketball this year. He is definitely the most improved player since last year. He loves, loves, loves Saturday morning. Glen has gained an understanding of defense and offense. He scores at least one basket every game, steals the ball and is getting much better at dribbling with each hand.

8th Grade basketball

She's down and fighting for it!

Brittany is trying her best this year. Her team is very inexperienced and loses every game, badly. They try to keep their spirits up. They are getting a better understanding of the game and hopefully with some extra practice this summer, next year will be a little better for them.

She just keeps getting older!

Her new Wii game. It is so fun!

It took like three tries to get her to blow out the candles! She couldn't stop laughing!

Lucy has been admiring this purse of Aunt Melanies for a long time. It is a fake Coach of course, but she was so excited! Thanks, Aunt Mel!

I really cannot believe she is 11!

Lucy 5th grade travel

She's down, and out of bounds, nice try!

Lucy is very aggressive. Makes her Dad proud! She has several steals each game. Even though she is almost the littlest one on the team, she gets several rebounds. She is working on dribbling left-handed, and defense. She is very good. She still smiles even though her travel team has lost every game so far. It gets discouraging, but she loves to play and does her best no matter what the score says.

Fun in the Snow

We are working on some huge snow banks here in Maine. The kids love to make forts, snow angels and of course sledding. Sammie loves to chase them up and down the hill. We love winter, but not the subzero temperatures!

JV Basketball

A sampling of pictures from some of Brandon's games. I love watching him play. He is great at rebounding and can get very aggressive. He usually scores 11-14 points a game. Glen is very proud of him.

Our favorite Presents

These were the favorite gifts that the kids got this year!

Christmas Morning

We are a basketball family at the moment. So guess what? Everyone got new basketballs for Christmas! I have a couple of rules... no dribbling before I am out of bed in the morning and no dribbling after 10:00pm. The kids are trying to talk me into moving the furniture out of the front room, installing a hoop (we have a vaulted ceiling in there), and then why not paint lines?
